I'm Eric Rothschild, a financial services professional with over ten years of experience in FP&A, hedge funds, and private equity. In the process of fundraising for an adult use dispensary opportunity, my partners and I needed to add some meaningful modeling bandwidth while focusing on securing the other necessary components of the business.  Eric listened to our needs and developed a detailed bottoms up budget and 5-year pro forma model faster than we expected, with the thoughtful customization wanted.  All of our investors praised the thoroughness and user-friendly nature of the model that Eric built, which certainly aided our ability to raise capital. We engaged Eric to help us build a pro-forma financial model to use as we raised a $4 million seed round with venture capital investors. Besides from building a detailed monthly model, Eric helped us create thoughtful and defensible financial projections which gave investors a clear vision on how we could monetize our platform.  His sales and EBITDA projections ultimately allowed us to put a justifiable long-term valuation on our business. After Eric built us the model, we retained him for monthly advisory work on an as-needed basis. We engaged Eric to conduct a quality of earnings analysis for my property management and leasing company as I evaluated an offer for my business. The analysis was incredibly comprehensive and gave us increased clarity on the true proforma earning power of the business. What I appreciated most about the analysis was how it went beyond just looking at reported revenue and cost items, and provided a more nuanced understanding of each specific expense item. By examining our expense items with fresh eyes and in a thoughtful manner, the analysis gave us a much clearer picture during negotiations with the buyer of what we could justify in add backs.


Ultimately, we used Eric’s adjusted numbers to raise our trailing three year adjusted EBITDA figure by over $250,000 which resulted in a new offer from the seller that was almost $1.5 million higher than their previous offer. Overall, I would highly recommend Eric to any business looking to extract the maximum amount of value when buying or selling a company.

I graduated from Emory University's Goizueta Business School in 2013. I began my career as a Corporate Finance & Restructuring Analyst at FTI Consulting before moving to the buyside as an Investment Analyst at Bronson Point Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund founded by managers from SAC Capital and Pequot Capital.  I've spent the past several years providing Fractional CFO and Transaction Advisory services to lower-mid market companies and their investors by building models to evaluate key investment and business decisions.

While at Emory, I played on the Varsity Tennis Team and was a member of the NCAA Divison III National Championship winning team. In my free time, I love competing on the basketball court, playing ping-pong with friends, or going skiing with my family.
